1. Lookalikes with signals. Describe your ideal customer or give your best accounts; the agent finds similar people and companies, with signals such as job changes, hiring, posts and tools mentioned.
2. Campaigns. Give context on your business, customers and tone; the agent drafts the invitations and messages, and runs sends and follow-ups from your account after your review.

What is Wannalead?

Wannalead is a LinkedIn API built for AI agents. You install it once, connect your LinkedIn account through a Chrome extension, and then ask your coding agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client) to find prospects, qualify them and contact them, in plain language.

Who is Wannalead for?

Founders, salespeople and GTM engineers who already work inside an AI agent and want LinkedIn prospecting to happen there, without learning another dashboard. It suits people who prospect from their own LinkedIn account rather than agencies running dozens of sender accounts.

What can I do with it?

Six things come up most: find lookalike profiles and companies with buying signals; run campaigns with invitations, messages and follow-ups; follow up on conversations left without a reply; contact connections you never spoke to; turn the people who engaged with a LinkedIn post into a filtered list; and turn a messy list of companies into the right people to contact.

How much does Wannalead cost?

Which AI agents work with Wannalead?

Claude Code, Codex and Cursor, through the CLI and the MCP server. Anything that can make an HTTPS request can also call the API directly with an API key, including curl and your own scripts.

Does Wannalead use my LinkedIn account?

Yes. Calls run through your own logged-in LinkedIn session in Chrome, through the Wannalead extension, so your password is never shared with us. The trade-off is that Chrome has to be open for actions to run.

Is it safe for my LinkedIn account?

Every write is capped per LinkedIn account: 50 invitations per day and 200 per week, with a soft warning at 180. When a cap is reached the request is refused explicitly instead of being throttled silently, so your agent knows why. No automation tool can guarantee that LinkedIn will never restrict an account; staying at human-scale volumes is what lowers the risk.

How fast is it?

A typical call answers in about three seconds, measured on our production traffic in September 2026. Larger jobs, such as pulling every comment on a post, return several rows per call.

How is Wannalead different from PhantomBuster or Waalaxy?

PhantomBuster and Waalaxy are tools with their own interface, built around automations or sequences that you configure. Wannalead has no dashboard to learn: your AI agent is the interface, it finds the people first (lookalikes, signals, post engagers) and then runs the campaign from your account. Does Wannalead work with Sales Navigator?

Yes, if your LinkedIn account has a Sales Navigator seat. The agent can then run Sales Navigator lead searches and reads through the same API.

Does Wannalead integrate with lemlist?

Yes. If your sequences already live in lemlist, the agent can push a deduplicated, enriched list straight into a lemlist campaign. Using lemlist is optional, since Wannalead can also send LinkedIn invitations and messages itself.

What does Wannalead not do?

It does not run in the cloud without your browser: Chrome must be open. It does not send cold email or find email addresses and phone numbers. It covers LinkedIn, not X, Instagram or Google Maps. And it is not a no-code app: you drive it from an AI agent or code.
